Hawks Midfielder named USCAA Honorable Mention

In a season of firsts for the York County Community College Men's Soccer Team, the team's first ever commit and first ever goal-scorer also becomes the first to earn USCAA honors. 

James Melino, an attacking midfielder from Rollingsford, NH, has been named USCAA Honorable Mention for Men's DII Soccer. 

James led the Hawks in Assists (5) and was a critical part of the three-man midfield that spearheaded the Hawks attack this season. 

"Congratulations to James for this well-deserved recognition," said Head Coach Chris Melino. "This is quite an accomplishment for a first year player and a testament to his strong performance all season."

James intends to return to the pitch for YCCC next season, as the Hawks look to build on a promising start to the Men's Soccer program.
