Hawks Win Fifth Straight Game By Run Rule
With dominant performances over NHTI and Massasoit CC this weekend, the Hawks have extended their winning streak to 5 straight games.
"It's great to get on a roll, and it feels like we've been able to do that in each facet of the game since returning from our Spring Trip," said Head Coach Zack Robinson.
The Hawks have played 5 games since returning from Florida, and secured Run-Rule victories in each of them - outscoring opponents 73-12 in that span.
- @Bunker Hill CC (NJCAA Region 21): 13-2
- @Holyoke CC (NJCAA Region 21) Double Header: 17-1, 18-8
- @NHTI (YSCC Conference Opponent): 11-0
- @Massasoit CC (NJCAA Region 21): 14-1
"Everybody has a role," continued Coach Robinson "and they're all stepping up and performing at the level that we expect of them."
During this stretch, the Hawks are hitting a staggering .424 and pitching to a 1.98 Team ERA.
Brady Batson picked up his eighth win of the season on Friday, which is good for best in the entire USCAA. Jack Sullivan is hitting .588 in the same time span, smacking 3 home runs and driving in 13 RBI along the way.
Rivalry Week is now upon us, as Baseball heads up to CMCC on Wednesday and SMCC on Friday for a pair of YSCC showdowns that could very well determine the outcome of the regular season in the YSCC.
