Saiauski and Brown return as Assistants
The York County Community College Track & Field program is excited to announce the additions of Thomas Saiauski and Treshaun Brown as Assistant Coaches for the upcoming season.
Brown’s return to the Hawks program is a full-circle moment, as he was the first student-athlete to commit to York County Athletics, signing with the Track & Field program in 2022. A standout competitor during his time as a Hawk, Brown captured USCAA National Championships in both the Long Jump and Triple Jump and still holds the school records in both events. He will return to YCCC to mentor the next generation of jumpers.
Saiauski was a member of the same recruiting class as Brown after the two competed together at Traip Academy. Since graduating, Saiauski has quickly established himself as a successful coach, currently serving as the Head Track & Field Coach at Traip Academy. In 2024, he helped lead the Rangers to a Western Maine Conference Championship. He will join the Hawks coaching staff overseeing the sprint program.
“Having former student-athletes return to our program as coaches speaks to the culture we are building here at York County,” said Athletic Director Zack Robinson. “Treshaun and Thomas understand what it means to represent the Hawks, and they bring valuable experience, passion, and knowledge that will help our student-athletes continue to grow.”
The additions of Brown and Saiauski continue the momentum of a rapidly growing Track & Field program, which captured its first conference championship in school history last season and produced multiple USCAA All-Americans.
