Tachibana Returns to Join Coaching Staff

'Former Hawk and current Professional Pitcher Ronin Tachibana is returning to Maine to join the Hawks coaching staff in Fall, 2026.

Ronin played for the Hawks in 2023, recording the final outs of the first win in program history, and holds the single-game strikeouts record (12). After leaving YC, Ronin entered the Pioneer League Draft, where he was selected 6th overall by the Billings Mustangs. Ronin has spent the last two seasons pitching in both the Pioneer League and the Pecos League. 

"I'm so excited to bring Ronin back into the fold - this time as a coach" said Head Coach Zack Robinson. "Ro is such a great culture guy and his knowledge of pitching is second to none. He's learned from and pitched against some of the best baseball players in the world. I think his combination of energy and knowledge is going to be incredibly beneficial for our young program, and I can't wait to see him get to work."
