Bio

Known mostly as “Ant,” Barbieri comes from Oliver-Wolcott Technical High School in Torrington Connecticut, where he served as the school’s number one pitcher during his Senior season.

Ant was named the opening day starter for the Hawks in the Fall of 2023, throwing four innings of 2-hit baseball against St. Joes college. He would go on to make two more starts before making the transition to the bullpen, becoming a shut-down reliever in short bursts.

Anthony made 11 appearances in the 2023-2024 season, totaling 23.1 innings pitched and a 7.33 ERA.
