Hawks Compete in YSCC Championship

PORTSMOUTH, NH-- It was a perfect, crisp fall day as the YCCC Hawks took part in their first Yankee Small College Conference championship match. Pease Golf Course was the site of a perfect New England golfing day Saturday. AJ McManus (Rye, NH) and Kyle Whyte (Falmouth, ME) competed in their first collegiate championship event. McManus finshed the day shooting an 89 while Whyte netted an 94.
NHTI's Nate Stevens took home a lot of hardware Saturday, winning the individual tournament, YSCC Golfer of the Year, and an All-Conference team member. The Southern Maine Community College golf team took home the 2021 YSCC Team Golf Championship, narrowly edging out Great Bay CC.
