Hawks Win at Home

Cape Neddick, Maine - On Monday, September 23rd, the York County Community College golf team hosted Kennebec Valley Community College for a 9-hole mini-match at Cape Neddick Country Club. 

The Hawks had all six of their golfers competing at this event, while KVCC traveled two of their golfers to compete. The Hawks were led by second year golfer, Dan Williams. Williams shot a 43 to receive the low-golfer honors of this competition. Liam Connors shot a solid 47, Amy Stanek put up a 52, Luke Sullivan shot a 59, Emma Janousek scored a 60, and Nic Gagnon shot a 61. The team's total strokes for the round finished at 202. 

The Hawks look to build off of this success as they hit the road on Thursday, September 26th, when they head to Purpoodock Club for a match hosted by Southern Maine Community College.
