When did you first start throwing in track and field?

I started throwing in middle school because I thought it looked really cool and looked like you needed to be strong to do it. If you can throw something heavy far, you had to be strong. I just never stopped after that.

What is your favorite thing about YCCC so far?

My favorite thing about YCCC is the flexibility and the ever-growing atmosphere. It seems like if you want to do something and have the motivation, you can make it happen here.

What is your favorite class at YCCC?

My favorite class at YCCC was the Introduction to Programming with Professor Keith Fletcher. I had a lot of fun using my own python knowledge to solve the problems that he presented.

How have you balanced athletics with academics here at YCCC?

I balance athletics with my academics through rigorous scheduling. Every deadline for an assignment has been looked at and time has been put aside to do it. Even if I do put it off sometimes.

Do you have any pets?

I have three dogs, Cloe, Samuel, and Ellinor. Cloe is my oldest, a chihuahua, and the other two are Corgi’s. They have very big personalities, Elie is very sassy, while Sam is a menace to society and Cloe just wants to sleep.

What is your favorite meal?

I love a good TJ’s or Alex Pizza. Living in Biddeford has spoiled me for choice in good pizza, but I am excited to try the shops near the Wells campus.

Who is your hero or mentor?

My hero is Satoshi Tajiri, because he was a programmer like me who liked to go outside and catch bugs, and made a game that inspired so many, including myself.
